Terms of Service

Acceptance of these terms

By accessing or using FedAnnuity (fedannuity.com), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

Use of the site

FedAnnuity provides free calculators and reference material about federal retirement benefits, for informational purposes only.

Every figure this site produces is an unofficial estimate computed from the values you enter, using formulas published by the U.S. Office of Personnel Management and the statutes they restate. It is not an official determination of your benefit. Only OPM can compute your actual annuity, and it will do so from your certified service history rather than from anything typed here. Each calculator states the rules it applies and the rules it deliberately does not model; read that section before relying on a number.

Nothing on this site is financial, tax, legal, or retirement advice, and using it creates no advisory relationship of any kind. It is not a substitute for guidance from a licensed professional, from your agency's benefits officer, or from OPM. Decisions about when to retire, what to elect, or what to buy back should be made with someone who can see your actual record.

FedAnnuity is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to the U.S. Office of Personnel Management or any agency of the U.S. government. References to OPM publications are citations to public documents, nothing more.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, FedAnnuity and its operators disclaim all liability for any damages — direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential — arising from your use of, or inability to use, the site.
